Kitakyushu Firefly Museum
The activities for protecting fireflies have been continued for over 30 years by citizens
in Kitakyushu-city. Firefly Museum was established as a facility that supports activities
related to preservation of the natural environment, learning and research on fireflies and
other waterside creatures and their habitats.
