Fukuoka Chuo Wholesale fish Market

Well known as the Kitchen of Hakata dealing with fresh sea food. The Wholesale Market is

open to the public on the second Saturday of every month as Citizens Appreciation day.

Time is from 9h to 12h. The Special event is the Tuna Cooking Show, don’t miss it.

At Sengyo ichiba kaikan or Fresh fish market hall, the wholesale work of fishes can be seen from

the visit corridor where is open to the public 24 hours. At the first floor the hall, there is Marin product

souvenir shop where you can buy local specialties including dry fishes and Mentaiko.
