江戸時代の参勤交代の時に使われた門司往還 小倉から大里までのルート、大里で宿泊した後は、船で下関まで渡っていました。 港は現在の関門製糖があるところです。 このルートは、江戸時代以前からあり、1597年に豊臣秀吉の命により26人のキリスト教信者が、 京都と大阪でとらえられ、長崎に送られる時に使った同じルートです。後の26聖人です。     2021年1月9日
